What deletion covers
All account-linked data listed below has been deleted.
After account deletion, we remove the Firebase Auth account and all account-linked data listed above from active GymBuddy: Guided Strength systems.
Limited data that may remain after account deletion
The following limited information may remain:
- Firebase/Google Analytics pseudonymous usage and event-level data may be retained for up to 14 months from the date of collection. We use this data to understand app usage, improve onboarding and workout flows, monitor reliability, and evaluate releases. Under our current analytics configuration, we do not send your GymBuddy: Guided Strength account ID, email address, profile data, onboarding answers, or workout content to Analytics.
- De-identified numerical research ratings may be retained for up to 14 months from the date of collection for aggregate product and research analysis. They are not retained together with your Firebase UID, email address, free-text answers, or account profile.
- A minimal non-identifying deletion audit record may be retained for up to 14 months after verified deletion. It contains only information needed to confirm that the deletion request was processed and to investigate technical failures.
- Operational logs may remain for up to 30 days for security monitoring and technical troubleshooting.
- If scheduled database backups are enabled, encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 14 days after deletion, after which they are automatically expired. These backups are retained only for disaster recovery and are not used as an active user database.
- Provider-required infrastructure audit records may be retained for the period required by the relevant cloud provider. These records are limited technical records and are not used to restore or operate your deleted GymBuddy: Guided Strength account.
Aggregated statistical reports that no longer identify an individual user may remain after the underlying event-level data has expired.
